2. The McGavran family burial plot is located in the so-called Frost cemetery in Columbiana County west of Lisbon, OH. (Lisbon is about an hour’s drive from Pittsburgh, PA). Donald McGavran had a new family obelisk placed there. For genealogy purposes it is helpful to note that he had his children’s names put on the stone before any of their deaths, and as of 2014, at least, two of them who had died were not buried there.

This is a small, family-style cemetery located in the woods off a rural road. The latitude and longitude are N40.76250° W80.86667°. Driving directions here are updated from those of Donald A. McGavran:

Drive 5.2 miles west from the town square, Lisbon OH, on US 30. Turn left on County Road 756 - Trinity Church Road. Trinity Church is a large white building on the left on Rt. 30 just before Trinity Church Road. Go 0.3 miles down Trinity Church Road; look for a wood on the left (east). You may be able to park on the shoulder of the road. The 'new' ledger stones are in the back center. The old obelisk is at the back left, with a bronze plaque.

P.S.—
I’ve just remembered another question which Pam and I want the answer to! What is (or was) the correct age order of our parents’ brothers and sisters? Pam and I guess the following sequence:

Henry (Tasmania)
Isabel (Scotland)
George Lana Anderson
Herbert (India)
Edith (my mother)
Jessie (Canada)
Nellie (your mother, USA)
William (Dr. who went to India in the IMS — Indian Medical Service)

This appears to be from his sister Grace (Gay). Don has written on the back, “Gay — we have sent Xeroxed data completely answering this question. Don”.
